Iran Threatens U.S. With ‘Unknown Weapons’ After Escalation With Israel
Tehran/Jerusalem/Washington – Tensions in the Middle East escalated further after a senior commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a direct warning to U.S. President Donald Trump, threatening to deploy weapons “the world has never seen.”
Iran Warns of New Weapons
IRGC Major General Ebrahim Jabbari stated that recent missile launches were carried out using older stockpiles, warning that more advanced and previously undisclosed weapons could soon be used.
“Trump should know that today we fired missiles from our old reserves. Soon, we will demonstrate weapons the United States has never seen before,” Jabbari reportedly said.
The remarks come amid intensifying military exchanges between Iran, Israel, and U.S. forces in the region.
Joint U.S.–Israel Strikes and Retaliation
Earlier Saturday, Israel and the United States reportedly conducted coordinated strikes targeting military installations in Tehran and other Iranian cities. According to reports, Iranian air defense systems and strategic military sites were among the targets.
In response, Iran launched retaliatory missile and drone attacks on Israeli positions and U.S. military bases located in Gulf countries, further escalating regional tensions.
Trump’s Message to the Iranian People
President Trump announced the start of what he described as a “large-scale military operation” and delivered a video message addressed directly to the Iranian public.
He suggested that once U.S. operations conclude, the Iranian people should take control of their government, calling it a potential “once-in-a-generation opportunity.”
School Strike in Minab
Amid the conflict, tragic reports emerged from the southern Iranian city of Minab, located in Hormozgan province. Local media claimed that at least 40 female students were killed and dozens injured after an airstrike hit a girls’ school in the area.
Minab is also reported to host facilities linked to the IRGC, though details remain under independent verification.
Growing Regional Crisis
The rapid escalation between Iran, Israel, and the United States has raised fears of a broader regional conflict. International observers warn that continued military exchanges could destabilize the Middle East and impact global energy markets and security dynamics.
More developments are expected as official confirmations emerge.
