Streaming service Prime Video unveiled its India slate of films and shows for 2026 in a star-studded event that was organised at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on Thursday, March 19, 2026. It was attended by Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol, Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Varma, Sonakshi Sinha, Jyotika, Ali Fazal, Sonali Bendre, Preity Zinta, Ravi Kishan and others.
The big announcement came in shows with Bobby Deol’s spy-thriller, Teen Kauwe. Along with that, Hrithik Roshan is backing a show, Storm, and a film, Mess. Further, Vijay Varma’s much awaited, Matka King is also part of the slate and will be released this year. Along with that, Sonakshi Sinha and Jyotika are teaming up for a courtroom drama film, System.

Alia Bhatt is also producing a film, titled Don’t Be Shy, which features new comers and is directed by debutante Sreeti Mukerji. The slate also includes older Prime Video shows returning for newer seasons, including, Sonakshi Sinha’s Dahaad, Ananya Panday’s Call Me Bae, Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi, TVF’s Panchayat, Dupahiya and more.
The streamer is also coming up with a slate of theatrical releases under Amazon MGM Studios, which includes, Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi’s Mirzapur The Movie, Rajkummar Rao’s Raftaar, Yami Gautam’s Nayyi Navelli, Bhuvan Bam’s Kuku Ki Kundli and Preity Zinta and Kunal Kemmu’s Vibe.

Streaming Films
1) Mess: Starring Pratik Gandhi, Gajraj Rao, Ranveer Shorey, this dark comedy is directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, known for helming Crew and Lootcase. Its synopsis reads, “When a motley group of robbers invade the family house of a man with OCD, they slowly realise, it’s not the family but them who need to survive this one night standoff.”
Based on an original screenplay by Paul Soter, the film has been adapted by Kapil Sawant. It is produced by Hrithik Roshan, Eshaan Roshan and Rajesh A Krishnan.
2) System: Sonakshi Sinha, Jyotika and Ashutosh Gowariker headline this courtroom drama directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwary. It is written by Harman Baweja, Arun Sukumar with additional screenplay by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Tasneem Lokhandwala.
Its synopsis reads, “When Neha Rajvansh, a privileged public prosecutor, meets Sarika Rawat, a courtroom stenographer from a humble background, their lives are thrown into upheaval where power defines truth, blurring the system and raising a question of what justice truly means to them.”
The film is produced by Pammi Baweja, Harman Baweja, Smitha Baliga.
3) Phoolan: After Poacher, director Richie Mehta returns with this hard hitting film about Phoolan Devi, who is trapped and outnumbered by 2,000 armed men, as she fights a brutal 48-hour siege that will either end her life — or rewrite the rules of a man’s world.
It is produced by Shareen Mantri Kedia, Kishor Arora, Kanwal Kohli, Richie Mehta.
4) Sundar Poonam: Sanya Malhotra and Aditya Rawal star in this twisted love thriller about a newly wed couple that goes missing on their honeymoon to Kashmir.
It is written by Jyotsna Nath and Pulkit, who has also directed the film. Sundar Poonam is produced by Vikram Malhotra, Kumar Taurani.
5) Don’t Be Shy: Alia Bhatt is the producer on this film which is written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji.
Its synopsis reads, “Don’t Be Shy follows the story of Shyamili ‘Shy’ Das, a 20-year-old girl who thinks she has everything figured out until her perfectly planned life takes an unpredictable turn, and things begin to spiral out of her control.”
Theatrical Films
1) Mirzapur The Movie: The celebrated crime-thriller series will be coming in the form of a theatrical film with an ensemble of Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Duggal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Gaur, Sushant Singh, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sonal Chauhan, Pramod Pathak, Anangsha Biswas and Shubhrajyoti Barat, Prashansa Sharma.
The film will take place before the events of the show. Written by Puneet Krishna and directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the film has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar.
2) Nayyi Navelli: Starring Yami Gautam, this romantic-comedy backed by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma, tells the story of a picture-perfect bride, who transforms a chaotic Meerut household into a slice of heaven until her brother-in-law suspects that things may not be as perfect as they seem.
Written by Himanshu Sharma and Divy Nidhi, the film has been directed by Balaji Mohan.
3) Dilkashi: Backed by Hansal Mehta and Sahil Saigal and directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, this film tells the story of Rose and Atharva reunite in a seductive game of love, betrayal, fantasy, and dangerously irreversible second chances. It stars Abhay Verma and Zahaan Kapoor.
4) Kuku Ki Kundli: Starring Bhuvan Bam and Wamiqa Gabbi, this romantic-comedy has been produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta. Written by Mohak Aneja, Kunal Aneja, it is directed by Sharan Sharma.
Its synopsis reads, “A hopeless romantic finds his perfect love story hilariously upended when a complication in his Kundli sets off family chaos, comic confusion, and a heartfelt journey that tests his courage and his belief in destiny.”
5) Vibe: Written and directed by Kunal Kemmu, this dark-comedy features Preity Zinta in the lead and tells the story of a clueless slacker and his by-the-book best friend, who find the fate of the nation in their hands when they accidentally stumble into a terrorist plot.
Also starring Kunal, Sparsh Shrivastava and Vanshika Dhir, the film has been produced by Kunal Kemmu & Chirag Nihalani.

1) Storm: Produced by Hrithik Roshan, this Ajitpal Singh directorial stars Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, Saba Azad, Suvinder Pal Vicky, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajit Kapur, Ashok Pathak, Gautam Rode, Priyanka Setia and Ranjan Raj.
Its synopsis reads, “Five women—each nursing wounds, dreams, and deadly secrets—are drawn into a web of deception that threatens to crush them or set them free when a sustainable housing project unravels into a deadly scam.”
2) Welcome toKhoya Mahal: Headlined by Aditi Rao Hydari and Barun Sobti, Welcome toKhoya Mahal tells the story of Kanishk and Kanupriya, ex-royals and half siblings, who are united by a crumbling inheritance, and forced to take over their family’s remote heritage hotel, ‘The Khoya Mahal’. It is created and directed by Konkona Sensharma and Jaydeep Sarkar and written by Hussain Haidry, Jaydeep Sarkar, Konkona Sensharma, Genesia Alves.

3) Raakh: Starring Ali Fazal and Sonali Bendre, this crime-drama has been directed by Prosit Roy with Anusha Nandakumar and Sandeep Saket serving as the creators, writers and co-directors. It also stars Aamir Bashir, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Rakesh Bedi in pivotal roles.
Its synopsis reads, “When two teenagers vanish, a close-knit family is shattered and the city is left on edge. Determined to uncover the truth, a relentless officer leads a nationwide manhunt that pulls him deep into a world of violence and human depravity.”
The series has been produced by Deepak Dhar, Rishi Negi, Mrinalini Jain and Shyam Rathi.
4) Matka King: Vijay Varma headlines this series that is set in the 1960s and tells the story of an enterprising cotton trader who craves legitimacy and respect, as he starts a new gambling game dubbed ‘Matka’. Created and directed by Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, the show also stars Kritika Kamra, Sai Tamankar, Siddharth Jadhav, Bhupendra Jadavat and Gulshan Grover in pivotal roles. It is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur.
5) Teen Kauwe: Starring Bobby Deol, Teen Kauwe tells the story of an ex-secret agent, believed to be a mole and thought dead for seven years, who must return to find the traitor who framed him, while his own agency is trying to terminate him.
Created by Abbas Tyrewala and directed and co-created by Priyanka Ghose, the show also stars Sidhant Gupta, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pavail Gulati, Ronit Roy, Isha Talwar, Chandni Bainz and Faisal Malik in pivotal roles.
6) Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya: Featuring Kay Kay Menon, this comedy-drama series is set in a a dysfunctional government school, where a laidback headmaster’s attempt to turn around the school sparks a chaotic makeover.
It is written by Biswapati Sarkar, Akshay Asthana, Nupur Pai, Tatsat Pandey and Meghna Srivastava, created by Sameer Saxena, Biswapati Sarkar and directed by Himank Gaur. The show also stars Naveen Kasturia, Prasanna Bisht, Abhimanyu Singh, Archana Puran Singh and Deven Bhojani. It is produced by Posham Pa Pictures.
7) The Revolutionaries: In this Nikkhil Advani directorial set around the rebellion of 1857, four young bloods driven by a mad passion for justice, liberty and freedom, set out to challenge the British Raj, with guns in their hands and rebellion in their hearts.
The show is adapted from the book The Revolutionaries written by Sanjeev Sanyal and stars Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta, Gurfateh Pirzada and Jason Shah.
8) Anarth: Starring Gulshan Devaiah and Kalki Koechlin, this supernatural thriller tells the story of a motherless child and a childless mother who are forced to face their grief when a sinister presence called Boba threatens to silence them forever.
Created by Ananya Banerjee and directed by Ananya Banerjee and Gaurav Chawala, the series also stars Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Preeti Panigrahi, Sumedh Mudgalkar, Harshita Gaur and Barkha Bist in pivotal roles. It is produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani.
9) Vansh – The Kalyug Warriors: This superhero actioner tells the story of a college student, who discovers that he carries the pure bloodline of an immortal, igniting a secret war among ancient Immortals and a dying tycoon with a dark past, eying the secret of immortality. It is written by Alok Sharma & Arunabh Kumar and produced by TVF in association with Induverse Comic.
10) ASI Babita Singh Reporting: Nimisha Sajayan headlines this crime-thriller about an under-estimated cop, who visits her in-laws’ for the first time, and finds herself torn between uncovering the truth in a murder investigation and the hidden lies in her own marriage.
With Sudip Sharma as the executive producer, the show has been written by Amita Vyas and directed by Ambiecka Pandit. It is produced by Saurabh Malhotra, S Manoj Mittra, Tina Tharwani and also stars Anshumaan Pushkar & Barun Sobti in pivotal roles.
11) Carnaame- Badla Gear Palti Kismat: This crime-drama series tells the story of four friends, who steal cars to escape debt, but one job spirals into a massive interstate operation. It is written by Sambit Mishra and Saurabh Sawant and created and directed by Vinay Waikul.
The show stars Purav Jha, Naman Jain, Saaquib Nazar, Nazrul Ayubi, Prayrak Mehta, Sikander Kher and Sai Tamhankar. It is produced by Pranati Nagarsheth, Niraj Nagarsheth, P.S Shyam.
12) Tax Department Story: Starring Ravi Kishan and Aditya Rawal, this series tells the story of a newly minted Revenue Services officer as he takes on the most powerful white-collar criminal in Agra, only to realize that winning is taxable.
The show is written by Prashant Raj, Abhishek Dubey, Samyak Singh, Satvika Kundu and Anu Singh, created by Prashant Raj & Samyak Singh and directed by Saurabh Bhave. It is produced by Reliance Entertainment & Dopamine Media.
13) Rafoo: Starring Maniesh Paul and Angira Dhar, the romantic-comedy tells the story of a struggling singer, who is stuck sharing his place with his ex-mother-in-law while his successful ex-wife lives upstairs with her new boyfriend. The show is written by Raghuvir Shekhawat, Shashank Bali, Sanjay Kohli, Zeenat Lakhani, Vihaan Kohli and directed by Shashank Bali.
14) Lukkhe: This thrilling sports-drama tells the story of a young sportsman, who infiltrates the wild and dangerous world of Punjab’s rap music to investigate a drug syndicate, only to find himself torn between love, family, guilt and brotherhood.
It is created by Agrim Joshi, Debojit Das Purkayastha and directed by Himank Gaur. The show stars Raashi Khanna, KING, Palak Tiwari, Lakshvir Saran, Shivankit Parihar, Nakul Roshan Sachdev and Kritika Bhardwaj in pivotal roles.
15) Nazdeekiyan: Starring Paresh Pahuja, Aakanksha Singh, Taaha Shah Badusha and Nikita Dutta, this 20-episode series tells the story of Seher and Abhay, who begin working together and fate entwines their spouses Ved and Meera into an all-consuming relationship. “Caught between duty and desire, they must choose whether true happiness is worth the heartbreak of those they care about most,” reads a note by the makers.
Written by Priyanka Bannerjee, Prateek Payodi, Abhinandan Sridhar and Heem Verma, the show has been directed by Ruchir Arun. It is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla and Apoorva Mehta.
16) Dono Mile Iss Tarah: Featuring debutants Zaeden and Katyani Mehra, this Dharmatic Entertainment show has been written by Riya Poojary, Rohan Thakkar and Zainab Sapatwala and directed by Harsh Dedhia.
Its synopsis reads, “Between missed chances, wrong timing, and the decisions that changed them, a love from their teens comes knocking twice, stirring feelings Laila and Aarav once left behind. Reconnecting as the people life has shaped them into in their early twenties, they wonder: is this finally their moment to get it right, or will the choices they make now pull them apart forever?”
South shows
1) Vadhandhi: With Pushkar & Gayatri as creative producers, Vadhandhi returns for the new season following SI Moosa Raaza. This time, he is transferred to Madurai as a punishment where he puts an innocent man to prison while working a high profile political cold case. “To rectify his mistake, Raaza must defy the state and dive back into a labyrinth of buried secrets to save him from a sentence he doesn’t deserve,” reads the synopsis.
Written and directed by Andrew Louis, the show stars M. Sasikumar, Yashwanth, Anagha Maruthora, Aparna Das, Vivek Prasanna, Revathy Sharma, Arjun Nandhakumar.
2) Inspector Rishi season 2: Naveen Chandra returns as the charismatic police officer Rishi in the second season of this crime-thriller series. This time, he investigates a series of strange abductions as victims reappear scarred, memoryless, and disturbingly inhuman.
Created, written and directed by Nandhini JS, the series also stars Sunaina, Kuraishi, Malini Jeevarathnam, Kishore Kumar G, Anupama Kumar, Gaby, Ramesh Thilak and Deepika Venkatachalam.
3) Gully: Starring Sudheer Babu, Gully is is a modern-day western, set on the mean streets of Old City, Hyderabad in which lives of criminals, police and cricket players clash on the eve of a high-stakes gully cricket match.
Written by Sashi Sudigala and directed by Praveen Sattaru, the show also stars JD Chakravarthy, Hansika, Shraddha Srinath, Adarsh Balakrishna, Nandagopal, Chaitu Jonnalagadda and Prince in pivotal roles.
4) Guvvala Cheruvu Ghat: Created by Bharath Kamma and Prasankar and directed by Bharath Kamma, Guvvala Cheruvu Ghat is set in a feudal South Indian town, ruled by bloodlines and ancestral bargains where a hidden heir quietly manipulates friendship, love, loyalty, and legacy to reclaim his stolen identity.
The show stars Kiran Abbavaram, Thiruveer, Samyuktha Menon, Tejaswi Rao, Siddique, Aadukalam Naren, Vikas Darshan, Maharshi Vidhya and Vinod Kishan.
5) Isakapatnam: In this intense thriller show, set in the 1990s in a ruthless port town, three forces collide—a woman driven by justice, a henchman torn by loyalty, and a common man hungry for revenge—each closing in on the empire built by the port’s most powerful man, Naidu.

1) Farzi season 2: Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi return in this thrilling cat-and-mouse tale where Sunny (Shahid) descends into darkness as Michael continues his war on counterfeiting despite being cut off from the system. “In this high-stakes roller-coaster ride, both men circle a hidden force capable of shaking India’s financial system,” reads a note from the makers.

2) Dahaad season 2: Sonakshi Sinha and Gulshan Devaiah return for the second season of this crime-thriller where Sub-Inspector Anjali Meghwal is pulled into a serial-killer hunt that investigates how power, patriarchy, and privilege can fuel horrifying violence.
It is written by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, Karan Tejpal, Chaitanya Chopra, Ruchi Joshi, Vidhur Nauriyal with dialogues by Sumit Arora and directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi. The show also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Sikandar Kher, Aisha Ahmed, Jyoti Kapoor and Vidhaan Sharma in pivotal roles.
3) Panchayat season 5: In the new season of the acclaimed TVF show, Abhishek prepares to move on with his MBA dreams, but first he must tie up loose ends in Phulera.

4) Call Me Bae season 2: Ananya Panday’s GenZ-coded comedy-drama returns for the new season with Shruti Haasan joining the cast. Written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, Rohit Nair, the show is directed by Collin D’cunha.
Its synopsis reads, “With her own news show finally on air, Bae is ready to rule! But fame comes with fallout. The drama in her personal life is even messier as Bae is caught between her returning ex-husband and her distractingly hot boss. And just when Bae thought her sisterhood was solid, a “Nayi Behen” enters, and the behencode starts to crack. Love is war. Work is a battlefield. And a new mystery is about to explode.”

5) Dupahiya season 2: Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane and Sparsh Shrivastava’s series returns with its “signature blend of madcap humour and heartwarming characters – but this time, the stakes are higher as another crime brews in Dhadakpur!”
Created by Salona Bains Joshi, Shubh Shivdasani, Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg, the series has been directed by Sonam Nair. It also stars Shivani Raghuvanshi, Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Anjuman Saxena and Dinesh Lal Yadav in pivotal roles.
6) Sandeep Bhaiya Season 2: The season 2 of Sandeep Bhaiya follows Sandeep Ohlan’s journey as a civil services aspirant in Prayagraj after his fiancé, Kusum, has ended their engagement. Six years later, ALC Sandeep crosses paths with Kusum again forcing him to confront his past.
Written by Nitin Tewari, the series is directed by Parijat Joshi and stars Sunny Hinduja, Deepali Gautam, Punit Tiwari, Pankhuri Awasthy.
7) Gram Chikitsalay Season 2: Amol Parashar returns in TVF’s comedy-drama where he plays Dr. Prabhat as he sets on a collision course against Babu Saheb – a corrupt official from the CMO office when he learns that the lack of medicines and Gobind’s future at the PHC lies in Babu’s hands.
Written by Vaibhav Suman and Shreya Srivastava, the series has been directed by Lalitam Tiwari and also stars Akash Makhija, Anandeshwar Dwivedi Vinay Pathak, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Garima Vikrant Singh, Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua).
