The trailer for the fifth and concluding season of The Boyshas been released by Prime Video. The series is based on the New York Times best-selling comic series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The new season of the superhero satire is set to premiere worldwide on April 08, 2026.

The final season brings back key cast members including Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr and Erin Moriarty, among others. The series explores a world in which superpowered individuals, celebrated like celebrities, frequently misuse their abilities. In response, a group of vigilantes, known as the Boys, attempt to expose the truth about the powerful superhero team known as the Seven.
According to the official synopsis, “it’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.” Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found.
“But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it.”

The fifth season of The Boys sees the return of Billy Butcher, who re-emerges with a controversial plan involving a virus capable of eliminating all Supes. His actions set off a series of events that could permanently alter the fate of both humans and superheroes.
The new season will debut with two episodes on April 08, followed by weekly releases leading up to the series finale scheduled for May 20, 2026.
