One of the most important days in Hinduism is Purnima, which occurs on the fifteenth day of Shukla Paksha each month. Chaitra Purnima is another name for Purnima that occurs during the month of Chaitra. On this holy day, devotees of Lord Vishnu observe fast from sunrise to sunset to honor Lord Satyanarayan, one of Lord Vishnu’s incarnations, and ask for his blessings.People are recommended to sit under the full moon to seek the blessings of Moon God, as it is believed that the moon’s divine beams fall on Earth during this time. 1. After rising early in the morning, people take a sacred dip in the Ganga River.2. If a devotee is unable to travel to a sacred location, they can take a holy bath at home by adding a few drops of gangajal to their bucket.3. Offering arghya (water) to Lord Surya on this day is believed to be beneficial.4. On this auspicious day, devotees pray to the Lord and practice the Satyanarayan Vrat.5.
