‘Ramayana’: The next glimpse ‘Rama’ from Ranbir Kapoor’s mythological epic to be unveiled on this date

The next glimpse from Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana will be unveiled on April 2 on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, producer Namit Malhotra announced on Friday (March 27, 2026).

Taking to X, Namit shared a note, saying, “This is a story that belongs to all of us and every step we take has been guided by a deep sense of responsibility, devotion, and care to bring our very own Ramayana to life in its truest spirit and scale with utmost sincerity.”

He added that the next glimpse ‘Rama’ from the two-part mythological epic will be unveiled on April 2. “We look forward to sharing the next glimpse, as we begin to showcase all these years of our effort through a grand world reveal with fans celebrating this moment across the world,” he wrote.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film also stars Yash and Sai Pallavi in the lead with Sunny Deol, Yash, Ravi Dubey, Kajal Aggarwal, Shobana, Sheeba Chaddha, Arun Govil and Rakul Preet Singh playing key roles.

The film has been written by Sridhar Raghavan with Namit credited for story. It is produced by Namit’s Prime Focus Studios along with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The first part in the series will be released in theatres on Diwali 2026 followed by the second part in 2027.
