The accused has been identified as Rohit Kumar Mishra, son of Vinod Mishra, resident of Pokhereda village, Mufassil Thana, Samastipur district. The arrest was made following a confidential tip-off about a person carrying an illegal weapon in the area.
Upon receiving the information, police promptly conducted a raid and seized one country-made pistol from the accused.
