‘Ek Din’ trailer: Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi turn lovers for a day in dreamy romantic-drama

The trailer of Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi’s upcoming romantic-drama, Ek Din, was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday. Directed by Sunil Pandey and written by Sneha Desai and Spandan Mishra, the film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions.

The trailer opens with a conversation that Junaid’s character has with a man about a bell in a snow covered landscape. “Its a bell of fate. Hopeless lovers from around the world ring it and try their luck,” says Junaid. The man shrugs it off and says that Junaid’s luck won’t change. However, Junaid goes near the bell and makes a wish, looking at Meera (Sai Pallavi), hoping that they end up together, even if for a day. The bell rings and their paths intertwine.

Then the two are seen spending time together in the picturesque landscapes. At one point, Meera challenges him to make eye contact with her for a minute, but she loses as she turns away, blushing. There is also hint of a conflict between the two as Meera is later seen slapping him for breaking her trust. The trailer ends with Meera holding him tightly, saying, “This is the most beautiful day of my life.” Junaid responds, “But tomorrow, you won’t remember it.”

The film features music by Ram Sampath with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. It is produced by Mansoor Khan, Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit.

Ek Din will be released in theatres on May 1, 2026.
