Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade to star in ‘The India Story’; film gets release date

Actors Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade will be seen next in The India Story, the release date of which was announced by the makers on Monday (April 27, 2026). The film will hit the theatres on July 24.

Directed by Chettan DK, The India Story explores “the alarming consequences of chemical misuse, in the context of pesticide farming”. “The film attempts to shed light on systemic lapses and the urgent need for stricter regulatory frameworks to prevent such widespread harm,” said makers in a press release.
