So boys will be boys?

In one of the many raw and startling moments from the recent Louis Theroux documentary on Netflix, Inside the Manosphere, American streamer Sneako signs autographs for a large group of adolescent boys.

Suddenly, a pair, aged not more than 12 or 13, starts screaming “F*** the women” and “All gays should die” in Sneako’s face, aiming for his attention and, no doubt, approval. Horror flashes ever so briefly across the streamer’s eyes before he remembers he’s on camera. He tries to laugh it off with “What have I done?” Sneako has over a million YouTube subscribers but it looks like his past is catching up with him: countless misogynistic comments on his live-streams, including repeated assertion that women’s right to vote should be taken away.
