Dubai Airports Update April 5: Air India, Air Asia to operate 32 West Asia flights; IndiGo requests flyers to “review flight status prior to arriving at the airport”

In a fresh update, Air India, Air Asia and IndiGo have shared a fresh travel advisory for passengers travelling to and from West Asia. While aviation in Dubai and at the other UAE airports continue to be functional amid the ongoing regional issues in the Middle East, airlines are continuously adjusting schedules and operating on a limited schedule. On April 5, 2026, Indian airlines IndiGo and Air India shared fresh travel advisories for passengers. IndiGo’s travel advisory IndiGo updated its travel advisory and shared the list of latest travel flights scheduled to operate on April 5. But the airline in its advisory also requested flyers to, “Please review your flight status prior to arriving at the airport” amid the evolving situation in the Middle East. It stated,“As of 5th April 2026, IndiGo is operating select flights to/from the Middle East. Flight schedules are being reviewed on an ongoing basis in coordination with the relevant authorities. Customers are requested to note:● Please review your flight status prior to arriving at the airport.● Any updates will be communicated via registered contact details.● Assistance is available through our contact centre for any queries.The safety and well-being of our customers and crew remain paramount. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.”Air India and Air Express updateAir India and Air India Express updated and informed to run together a total of 36 scheduled and non-scheduled flights. Air India Group shared an “Important Update”. “Air India and Air India Express will together operate 32 scheduled and non-scheduled flights, to and from the West Asia region on 05 April 2026.”It is one of the ways through which Indian airlines are maintaining essential connectivity between the nations.
