Picture this: Your husband, a respected police officer, goes to a mistress’ apartment. Instead of filing for divorce, you propose… renting him out to the mistress! That’s the wild twist in Khun Kwang’s story, a 31-year-old Thai mom who went viral on the TV show Hone-Krasae, hosted by Kanchai Kamnerdloy. Married since 21 (straight out of university) to her 35-year-old husband, with an 8-year-old son, their marital bliss cracked mid-2025. It was in 2025 when she noticed an unknown woman constantly visiting her social media profile, followed by her husband coming home late at night and ignoring her calls—that Khun connected the dots and found out about her husband’s affair. “We lived respectfully, not interfering with phones,” she shared, but suspicion nagged. The bomb dropped one 1 AM night: Khun’s husband stormed in, declaring he’d handed her the house, car, and debts—and now he wanted to exit their marriage. Shocked silence followed, but Khun hired a personal investigator to know what was wrong with her husband. She paid a whopping 10,000 baht per day to the investigator in the hope of fixing her marriage. And in just one day, the investigator informed her about her husband visiting a Ramkhamhaeng pad.“At that time, I was confused and shocked about what it was, but I didn’t ask or talk about anything. We went to bed separately. But because of my suspicions, I decided to hire a private investigator to check on my husband’s behavior, paying 10,000 baht per day. I agreed to pay, even though the investigator said it might not be resolved in one day. However, I provided crucial information, and in just one day, I received an important clue when the investigator reported that my husband had gone to a residence in the Ramkhamhaeng area,” Khun said, as reported by NDTV Digital.Knowing this, Khun gave an ultimatum to her husband: “Talk face-to-face or I show up,” she said. He caved, blaming the mistress’s self-harm threats and refusal to end the affair, which forced him to stay with the mistress.
Confrontation time
Meanwhile, the mistress admitted knowing he was married but dodged family debt responsibility when asked if she would take charge of it. Instead, the mistress said that the husband and wife needed to figure out their debts on their own. It was then that Khun’s husband returned home to his wife and child, and some normalcy resumed in their home. Until one restless night—when Khun’s husband woke up and confessed that he still missed the mistress. Khun listened in on their hour-long call, realising that her husband was giving false hope to the mistress. It was then that she came up with an idea: “renting” her husband for 30,000 baht/month (roughly INR 85,000)—15k each from the husband and his mistress. While the mistress agreed to this arrangement, the husband didn’t.And so, as per reports, Khun is now suing the mistress. Legal eagle Pat Anusorn Asurapong shut down the “husband-lease” idea, saying that it is void under Thai monogamy laws and public morals—no court enforcement. From young sweethearts to this soap-opera saga, Khun’s story screams resilience amid betrayal. Fans are hooked—team rent or run? What’s your wildest relationship plot twist?
