‘The Boroughs’ trailer: Duffer Brothers back a supernatural drama set in a retirement community

Netflix has dropped the trailer for the supernatural drama The Boroughs. The eight-episode series is executive produced by Matt and Ross Duffer, the creators of Stranger Things. The series stars Alfred Molina, Geena Davis, Alfre Woodard, Denis O’ Hare, Clarke Peters among others.

The Boroughs is helmed by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance fame. The series is billed as a mix of horror, myster and emotional storytelling. The Boroughs will premiere on Netflix on May 21, 2026.
