Babil Khan to make Malayalam film debut with ‘Gandhi Bazar Sunday Market’

Actor Babil Khan will be making his Malayalam film debut with Gandhi Bazar Sunday Market.

The film is directed by Babu Janardhanan and will also feature Aparna Balamurali, Deepak Parambol, Nikhil Nair, Johny Antony, Jagadish, Sudheer Karamana, Unni Raja, Athmiya, and Jayashankar in pivotal roles.

Gandhi Bazar Sunday Market will be shot by Fazil Nazer and edited by Sooraj E.S. It will feature music by Nandhagopan V with lyrics by Rafeeq Ahammed. The film will go on floors soon.

Babil, the son of late actor Irrfan Khan, made his acting debut in 2022 with the Netflix psychological drama film Qala, which was helmed by Anvita Dutt and also starred Triptii Dimri. Babil has since starred in the web-series The Railway Man, the film Friday Night Plan and the cyber thriller Logout.
